John will be performing live as part of the Ditmas Acoustic Concert Series at “The Sanctuary,” on 83 Marlborough Road at 7:00 p.m. The Sanctuary is located at Temple Beth Emeth in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, and is easily accessible by subway (Take the Q to Church Avenue, and walk to the corner of Marlborough Road). By car (from Manhattan or New Jersey), take the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel to the Prospect Expressway to the first left after the traffic light (Beverly Road) off Ocean Parkway. Take Beverly to Marlborough, turn left, and park where you can. You’ll be just two blocks from the Temple, which is on the corner of Marlborough and Church. John will be doing songs of others, as well his own compositions, including “Remember Me,” in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of 9/11, as well as other numbers from his most recent CD, “Side Effects.” The show will be a mixture of songs (like life) both funny and sad, but always of hope. Admission will be $10. The Sanctuary is a beautiful setting, and intimate enough so that there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The acoustics are also excellent, so please come. (Also performing on the bill will be bAD, an eclectic “Bollywood” influenced band.)
